This antique 11x16 Afghan rug is a rare new Bokhara addition to Rug & Kilim’s classic curations. Hand-knotted in wool, it originates circa 1930-1940. Further on the Design: A keen eye will admire these distinct medallion patterns, and note them as the calling card of coveted Bokhara rugs like this masterpiece. Deep burgundy and crimson notes play with black in a bold, rich look that exemplifies the Caucasian Turkoman tribal style that connoisseurs covet.
