This 11x15 antique Persian rug is a rare Kerman Lavar rug from the titular Iranian region of renown. On the Design: Hand-knotted in wool circa 1920-1930, the rug carries a rosette-style medallion within a dense, elaborate all over floral pattern. Its regal drawing and fine curvature are matched only by the sheer range of brilliant colors and botanical motifs. Keen eyes will admire bright blues, pinks, many rich reds and gold tones in the many-present hues that paint this masterpiece teeming with life.
