About the Item
The navy field shows open angular "dumbbell" cartouches with palmette and octo foil ornaments. Rosettes, flowers, bits of stiff vinery and a few animals enliven the pattern. Four narrow borders with boteh chains and reversing simple flowers. Cotton foundation, medium weave, West Persian village runner. Good condition.
