A vintage N.W. Persian oriental rug, size 6'8" x 6'8", circa 1940. This delightful hand-knotted vintage wool carpet is characterized by a diamond design in the softly hued central field, which is demarcated by stylized floral elements within each individual diamond. The field is enclosed within an outer border with a scrolling motif of alternating leaves and flower heads. In excellent condition, with sturdy yet supple wool pile throughout. This lovely carpet makes for a great choice for an entry way, a foyer, a living space, or a bedroom, and a wonderful way to add color, warmth, charm, sophistication, and style to your home decor!
