Hand-knotted in wool, a scintillating vintage 4x7 Art Deco rug from Rug & Kilim’s growing Mid-Century Pasha collection—featuring notable works of the iconic Turkish designer Zeki Muren. Originating from Turkey circa 1960-1970, this rug displays the exemplary play of Mid-Century Modern geometric patterns in black on a warm golden-orange, sherbet background that seems to lend a 3D illusion of movement on a delicious scale. The almost optical illusion boasts arguably the most unique presence of Müren’s works we’ve witnessed thus far, all attesting to the rare, collectible appeal of this decorative, artisan choice.
