Size 118 x 176 cm (3,87 x 5,77 ft)
Milas Carpets (also written as Melas) - Turkish carpets produced in the Milas district are unique in style and composition. The surroundings of Muğla Province were a shelter for Turkmen settlements. These people followed a semi-nomadic lifestyle, used natural dyes, and incorporated a dizzying variety of angular botanical motifs and symbols into the carpets they wove.
The ancient Milas carpets of southwestern Turkey are extremely beautiful with the delicacy of their weaving and drawings and the subtlety of their colors.
