Antique Oushak carpet or rug. An absolutely outstanding antique decorative carpet or rug. Art Nouveau inspired design carpet - the best examples of Oushak weaving display the close interaction between Oriental carpet production and the aesthetic movements in the West. Original soft color palette, wonderful soft wool, probably angora blend. Carpet has great patina and handle. Carpet is in excellent state of preservation. (It has been impossible to get the colors right in the main image of the carpet. Please see the floor shot and the close-ups of the carpet for the accurate colors.)
