About the Item

The terracotta red field with an overall angular shaded green and ivory palmette and floral vine, in an eau-de-nil border with stylised cypress trees alternating with a delicate floral sprays between plain ivory stripes. Oushak (or Ushak) rugs originate from the small town of Oushak in west-central Anatolia, which is located just south of modern-day Istanbul, Turkey.
