This vintage Turkish Oushak runner handsomely communicates some of the finer and more important points of traditional Turkish design elements. Featuring a stacked row of four medallions each enclosing an eight-point star dotted with stylized flowers in an abrashed red field. The Oushak runner is surrounded by border consisting of alternating florals with connected vines. Diagonal guard bands surround the main border while each vertical end of the runner displays repeating tribal motifs. Rendered in a stunning selection of time-softened colors emphasizing the artistry and refined elegance of Turkish culture. The beautifully abrashed field incorporates a tonal array of red, brown, beige, light gray, ecru, taupe, charcoal, greige and mocha.
