This rug is a great example of 1970s pop art interior. Made in high quality handmade macramé weaving technique in Germany in the 1970s.
due to the high quality, way of production and design this rug can be attributed to be a custom order made production by Ewald Kröner, manufactured by his own Label Schloss Hackhausen near Dusseldorf in the Germany. It is made from cotton wool and it is still in a very good vintage condition.
Fantastic coloration in different yellow tones etc. the rug has a rainbow pattern illustration reminiscent with design by Verner Panton. in one of our other listing you find a second ruf of this series, in another coloration.
An interesting piece for every modern home in a lovely vintage condition. would fit well in any home with 1960s-1970s decor or in combination with modern midcentury interior.
