Rare Antique French Needlepoint Square Rug, Rich Colors

About the Item

Made for someone initialled SJ in the central barbed and rounded diamond, of nine red ones overall. The other medallions d show linked acanthus cruciform patterns with four radiating tulips forming the interstitial design. Green border of interlinking stems. Fairly good condition.
