1940s Axel Larsson Armchair and Ottoman

About the Item

Armchair and ottoman designed by Axel Larsson in upholstery and hard wood. Sweden, 1940’s Axel Larsson was a Swedish interior and furniture designer who worked for Svenska Möbelfabrikerna, Bodafors (SMF) for the main part of his career. Several examples of his designs were exhibited at The Stockholm Exhibition of 1930. He also played an important part in developing how to produce furniture in large editions, as well as having numerous important interior design commissions throughout his career, such as the Gothenburg Concert Hall and the Park Avenue Hotel, Gothenburg Fully restored wooden structure and reupholstered.
