Fantastic 20th century armchair from the Art Nouveau period in Austria around 1915. Upholstered with finest Backhausen fabric - the so-called "poplar rose" design by Kaitna Eberhard (1913, Wiener Werkstaette) - this beautiful lounge chair impresses with amazing shaped lines. Just have a look at the extraordinary designed backrest with its attached red hand-laid cords additionally enhancinging the outstanding form. Not only a very decorative but also absolutley comfortable chair which comes with the matching foot stool to put your feet up and relax after a busy day.
