20th Century Guarnacci, Padovano and Vagnoni for 1P Attr. Pair of Armchairs, 70s

About the Item

1P - INDUSTRIA CHIMICA PER L'ARREDAMENTO is an italian manufacturer, active between 1967 and 1986, based in Florence. Thanks to the collaboration with several italian designer (such as Emilio Guarnacci, Felix Padovano, Claudio Vagnoni and also Gaetano Pesce), this agency arrived to promote the use of the plastic and other "new" material for the seating, shocking the traditional concept of seating (usually in wooden structure). These characteristics can be applied to this pair of armchairs with a white plastic structure and purple upholstery, together with the shape that reminds of those produced by 1P. They are very comfortable and thanks to the peculiar color they can make any environment a very special one, giving a different touch to the room. Good condition, ready to be shipped.
