Aesthetic Movement Anglo-Japanese Mahogany Armchair with Lattice Work Details

About the Item

An Aesthetic Movement Anglo-Japanese mahogany armchair with sweeping arms and vertical supports below following down past the seat forming lattice work details. With incised tramline details to the show wood, all stood on slightly angled feet. A design quite ahead of it's time with a thoroughly modernist style to it. Professionally re-upholstered in a white calico. We only do traditional upholstery using the finest materials including horse hair with no foam. The calico can easily be removed and a top cover replaced in the upholstery of your choice, all the main work has been renewed.
