English Jacobean Style Oak Wainscot Armchair

About the Item

Open Armchair of typical Wainscot form, the straight paneled back adorned with carved lettering probably documenting family event, wavy armrests with Primitive carved decoration, paneled seat above a frieze, front legs and stretcher turned and chip carved, back legs and stretchers straight. Pegged construction and ark stained finish.
