About the Item
This early Dutch Mid-Century armchair was designed by Jan den Drijver, Ca. the 1940s and features a distinctive frame made from solid Oak. The Moss green fabric is complimenting the colour of the wood. The comfortable cushion features a leatherette trim. The seat features stretched springs upon which the cushion rests.
Wonderful piece of Dutch Modernism, Signed!

Jan den Drijver (Johannes Hendrik Bastiaan den Drijver) (1903-1993) Important designer mostly known for his chair designs for the Ster Gelderland and his own company 'De Stijl' which he established in The Haque, The Netherlards.
