Pair of Antique Victorian Carved Walnut Armchairs
About the Item
A superb pair of antique Carolean Style carved walnut armchairs with cane backs. These were made in England, they date from around the 1880-1900 period.
The quality is absolutely amazing, with fine carving throughout. They have high caned backs, and are in the Carolean style. The details on the back rest are stunning, they have beautifully scrolled arms and sit on fantastic stretchered bases.
We have given these a clean and fresh wax polish, the condition is excellent for their age. The cane is all intact and damage free, and the seats have been re-upholstered in our cream cotton fabric. There is just some minor wear to the wood beneath the polish here and there.
