Pair of Empire Style Armchairs with Versacesque Decoration
About the Item
Pair of maximalist empire revival style armchairs featuring Versace inspired motifs. The chairs have a classic gondola shaped frame with faux leather naugahyde upholstery. The faux leather is bordered by shiny brass tack nail heads. The chairs are embellished with large rosettes on the arms and smaller rosettes on the top corners. The seat apron has a neoclassical style Greek key motif that runs around the border of the seat finished in a dark red mahogany stain with a Napoleonic profile. From an estate in San Francisco, CA.
