Pair of French Giltwood Louis XVI-Style Arm Chairs /Fauteuils 19th Century
About the Item
French louis XVI-styling make this pair special with a beautiful tapered
And squared leg. The chair back is gracefully shaped in a slightly
Oval raised back. The fabric is in rich hues which has shades of white,
Gray and silver. The upholstery is new. The carving on these chairs
Flow across the top in a leaf and berry design and an oval and foliate
Design runs down each side of these chairs. They are very comfortable
And well padded, they are a depth and width that is very usable.
The gilt patina is bright and original in a soft hue. The slightly oval Shaped
Back is very desirable
