Pair of French Mahogany and Cane Armchairs, 1950s

About the Item

A pair of stunning mid-century sculptural French armchairs in mahogany with caned seating and back, France, 1950s. The seat and backs are made of cane and the simple detailing and craftsmanship elevate the design of these chairs. They have a good sizing to them, so they can be a beautiful addition to any room as a stand-alone item, or they can be the perfect addition to the seating area in the living room. The chairs are the perfect combination between airy design and comfort. They can fit any contemporary, vintage or rustic style interior. Perfect for any residential or commercial project. The chairs have been restored and are in excellent condition. The cane seating and back have been redone to offer optimal support. The chairs were sourced in the South of France.
