Pair of Hans Wegner Round Chairs

About the Item

Known simply as "The Chair," this iconic armchair was designed by famed Danish architect and furniture designer Hans Wegner in 1949. The patinated Danish oak frames have been carefully restored, enhancing the curved edges with a soft finish. Current velvet seats are plush and comfortable. May be newly upholstered with preferred fabric by request. Chairs bear cabinetmaker Johannes Hansen's stamp. Our pair was manufactured in the 1950s. Measures: 19" long x 25" wide x 30" high x 18" seat height.
