We are delighted to offer for sale this exceptionally rare pair of Thomas Bernstrand and Lindau Borselius designed 2015/2016 Honken armchairs for station RRP €8,800 A very good looking and well made suite, they are an absolute masterpiece of contemporary design, the brown leather seat and back cushions are thick hide, lightly filled and do the job very well, the oak writing slope is also very solid and makes a wonderful work space or laptop / iPad stand Condition wise they have some light patina marks here and there but are mostly in very fine order indeed Dimensions Height:- 78cm Width:- 101.5cm Depth:- 86cm Seat height:- 47cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point Manufacturers description Thomas Bernstrand + Lindau & Borselius 2015/2016 Honken is a generously spacious armchair that also functions as an intimate two seater sofa, made of durable steel and expanded metal but with turned legs of solid oak. With the hope of it becoming a true classic the designer has given Honken all the conditions for living a very long life. With a frame made of sturdy 30 mm tubing, a bottom plate of 6 mm steel and a sitting basket of expanded metal this frame is torsionally rigid and impact resistant and will survive even the toughest environments. And, when you give up, a new owner will take over, stretch out, put on a new coat of paint and sew new cushions. This also makes Honken a good environmental choice and upholds sustainable development. Honken is available in various versions; with a high or low back cushion and without a back cushion. With the accessories Honken Workstation, the easy chair becomes its own little universe where one can relax and work alternately. Honken Workstation is ideal for schools, universities, libraries, hotels, offices and workplaces of all kinds. Steel and Oak Steel basket and leg fittings of painted tubular steel and flattened expanded metal. Oiled oak legs.
