Pair of Louis XV Style Bergère Armchairs
About the Item
Stunning pair of bergère armchairs or lounge chairs made in the grand French Louis XV style. Featuring large carved frames in the style and scale of a marquise bergère with neoclassical motifs decorating the seat. The back gracefully curves down to the padded arms. Upholstered with a beautiful floral and foliate brocade fabric. The chairs are supported by fluted, tapered legs.
Very good quality joinery and craftsmanship from an estate in Palm Beach, FL.
These fine quality pair of Louis XV style bergère armchairs are designed by Lillian August. Perfectly upholstered and in great condition, fabric like new.
Very generous proportions, these beautiful Louis XV bergère armchairs are constructed with strong hardwood. Comfortable, elegant and practical frames are sturdy enough to be used daily. Will enhance any setting.
