A pair of beautifully shaped bentwood chairs with cane from Thonet. Designed at the end of the 19th century. These 2 chairs were produced in the 1950s in the Thonet factory "Ton" in the Czech Republic.
Object: 2 chairs
Design: Michael Thonet
Mark: Marked on the bottom “Thonet”. No 233.
Style: Mid Century
Period: 1940-1950
Country of origin: Czech Republic, TON factory.
Condition: Good. Wear is consistent with age and use. Great patina which is consistent with age and use. The Chair and cane are in good condition. Sturdy chairs.
