Pair of Midcentury Green and Purple Velvet Armchairs, 1950
About the Item
Elegant armchairs with a typical Italian taste of the 1950s. Particular design for its slot between the backrest and the seat.
This is a combined velvet of two colors, green and purple. The seat and backrest are covered with green velvet, while the two armrests and therefore both sides are covered in purple velvet. The two armchairs are raised on from four feet of wood polished in black lacquer, it has a square shape and slightly pyramidal. As you can see from the photos, the velvet is not smooth but has a herringbone pattern. In addition the backrest in the front has two central buttons.
Comfortable and well reclined these armchairs welcome the person very well. These armchairs are completely refurbished and reupholstered by our own atelier. Classic model of armchairs of the 1950s, they have been kept in their original state, and are ready to welcome a person for many years to come.
