This beautiful pair of armchairs designed by L'Atelier is a great example of the style of Brazilian midcentury furniture. The materials are disposed of in such a way as to create a sense of balance and elegance. The Brazilian Hardwood details from the arms and the special legs make this pair an outstanding mid-century choice for every ambiance. Originally born in Poland, Jorge Zalszupin built his entire career in Brazil, where he's absorbed many influences for his design, especially the care and attention for the treatment of the tropical wood. Nowadays he is considered one of the most important designers from Brazilian modernism. His legacy is absolutely outstanding and timeless. The designer was part of an exclusive group of designers, one of the few to work directly with the known architect Niemeyer. L’Atelier furniture studio, a very influential brand back then was founded In 1959. The studio is known for using Brazilian rich natural resources and for the rarely skilled craftsmen.
