Rare Pair of Painted Iron Armchairs, France, circa 1910s

About the Item

Unusual almost-pair of Industrial armchairs, entirely made from assembled parts that have been screwed and bolted together, much like Meccano. The bases are slightly different. Traces of the original white here and there, but mostly visible is the orange iron primer. It's possible that these two similar chairs were intended for wider production, but remained as one-off prototypes.
