    Museum court Empire armchair circa 1830, mahogany Solid mahogany body. Empire beginning of the 19th century. Armrests, curved volute-shaped, ending in carved dolphins. Rectangular backrest framing flanked by classicist carved lion heads and elaborately inlaid brass inlays in the form of acanthus leaves below. Straight frame on baluster and saber legs, some of which are also inlaid with brass. Scattered rich and intricately inlaid brass inlays. The seat and backrest are classically upholstered and covered with a fine velvet upholstery fabric. Untouched original condition.
