Savonarola Chairs
About the Item
We have three matching mid-century Italian made brass and painted wrought iron Savonarola chairs.
Each chair frame is structurally sound and in its original white paint which is somewhat chippy.
Upon request we can have repainted (or powder coated) the color of your choice.
Original loose upholstered seat and stitched-on backrest cushions are in their original tired and distressed material; the wrought iron arms are covered in rouched sleeves.
Our upholsterer can re-make or create new cushions per your specifications. Reach out to request suggestions.
Should you prefer we can also cut down rear uprights to match the height of the front, eliminating the backrest as well as the arms, transforming these chairs into Dante benches or cerule stools. (see last image for an approximate illustration).
