Seating Group Armchairs + Table by Rud Thygesen and Johnny Sorensen for Botium

About the Item

Rud Thygesen and Johnny Sorensen met during their studies at the Danish School Of Arts, Crafts & Design and founded their joint design studio in 1966. Their designs were functional, aesthetic, very appealing and of exceptional quality. The two were correspondingly successful, especially when they had their designs manufactured by Magnus Olesen. In the meantime, the objects of the designer duo can be found in museums all over the world, including Oslo, London, Copenhagen and even the Museum of Modern Art in New York. The items offered are the lounge version of the design. This is characterised by a lower seating position and more seating space in width. Suitable as a counterpart to a sofa or as a conversation chair. Not to be confused with the 7703 chair. Armchair: frame wood dark stained, seat leather brown, back wickerwork brown, GB 69 cm ST 49 cm SH 40 cm. Table: dark stained wood, WH 70 cm x 40 cm x 70 cm, model 7701. Price is for the complete seating group!
