About the Item
USA, 1950s
Great pair of tufted midcentury armchairs made by The Franklin Furniture Co. of Columbiana, OH. These look very much like Dunbar. Newly reupholstered with all new foam; the walnut bases have been serviced and refinished. These are well-made chairs with great lines in a great scale. Newly reupholstered with all new foam. Walnut bases have been serviced and refinished. Fabric is Designtex Circa in Coal- 3419-802. Fabric is rated for 100,000 double rubs and is solution-dyed 100% polyester. It has a smooth hand and though contract-grade, feels comfortable and appropriate for residential use. Quality American-made design that is better than new.
Conditions notes: Newly reupholstered with all new foam. Walnut bases have been serviced and refinished. Fabric is Designtex Circa in Coal- 3419-802. Fabric is rated for 100,000 double rubs and is solution-dyed 100% polyester. It has a smooth hand and though contract-grade, feels comfortable and appropriate for residential use.
