19th Century Black Swedish Gustavian Fållbänk, Antique Pinewood Fall Bench

About the Item

A black, antique Swedish Gustavian FÅLLBÄNK, fall bench composed with a storage space below sitting area, made of hand crafted painted Pinewood, in good condition. The back rest of the Scandinavian wood bench is spindled with small, arched armrests, supported by four rectangular feet. Minor fading, scratches due to age. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 1850 - 1870, Sweden, Scandinavia. Seat: 20" H x 64" W x 18" D.
