Rare 19th century French hall seat, bench, settee, or chair~~rarely do we come across such a beautiful piece~~fit for a king or queen!
Spectacular design with beautifully carved crowned winged griffon center cartouche and cherubs holding garlands of fruit...lower single drawer is concealed in base~~carved sphinx-like creatures with volute scrolled feet~~this is a true work of art!
Beautiful entry, foyer or hall "statement piece" for today's home~~high quality detailed craftsmanship of the era
