Antique Italian Cassapana with Storage & Original Hand-Painted Finish

An Italian carved-wood bench with storage from the early 18th century. This antique bench from Italy has a flattened backside, with a curved/bowed (half-oval shape) front design with a double break-front step out flanking its center before rounding onto the sides. The case houses a pair of raised-panel doors at front, with a slender drawer above, and a second drawer positioned below the doors. There is hidden storage within this bench- please ask us for details on this before purchasing. The platform base is nicely molded and sits securely to the ground. An Italian carved and painted wood credenza from the 18th century. This antique cabinet from Italy has a rectangular-shape, with front corners convexly scalloped inward, giving this piece a lovely shaped. The case houses a pair of smaller sized drawers set horizontally at top, above a pair of recessed panel doors at front. The skirting is heavily molded, and this chest is raised upon carved bracket-style feet which give open arch-shaped designs at the underside. The pair of doors open to reveal storage within, and flank a recessed panel at front which is adorn with a carved garland hanging downward within its center.
