About the Item
Fabulous vintage Neoclassic style hunter green textured faux leather short bench or vanity stool. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear. There are no outstanding flaws that we have found. This piece does have a purposeful rub-through distressed finish. Please see photos and zoom in for details. We attempt to portray any imperfections. circa, Mid-20th century.
Kermit the Frog once said “It’s not easy being green!” Maybe not… But it sure is EASY to fall in LOVE with this phenomenal hunter green stool!! This is an incredible vintage Neoclassic style short bench or vanity stool which we believe was painted and reupholstered before we acquired it in a gorgeous hunter green paint with a purposeful all-over patina and a forest or hunter green textured faux leather or vinyl seat that is self-corded with nail head trim details. The frame is comprised of (we think) mahogany with curved legs and tall arms with X stretchers baring intricately carved details including flowers, bows, and lines. It. Is. STUNNING!!! It would be a fabulous addition to your bedroom or dressing area, at a vanity, used as extra seating in the living or family room, or at the entry for a stylish spot to remove your shoes! Your friends and family are about to be “green with envy” when they lay eyes on your new vintage Neoclassic style bench or stool! Go ahead…. Make it YOURS!!!
