Pair of 19th Century Country French Provincial Farmhouse Benches
About the Item
Gorgeous pair of late 19th century country French provincial farmhouse bench seats crafted from fruitwood. These harvest benches feature a 1.5-inch thick plank seat measuring 6 inches wide. Constructed with exposed mortise and tenon joinery and supported by turned legs that are canted or splayed giving the benches a classic farmhouse profile. The fruitwood has a beautifully aged and warm patina on the finish with rustic knots in the rich woodgrain and prior insect holes that add to its charm and character. From an estate in Napa Valley, CA.
