Poul Hundevad Gold Hill Folding Stool

About the Item

Wood and Cognac leather folding stool designed by Poul Hundevad. circa 1950. Unsigned. Base in very good vintage condition with original leather seat. Hundevad based his design on this folding stool on an original that was found in a grave dating to 1300 BC in Vamdrup, Denmark, recognized as the oldest known example of Scandinavian furniture.
