End 19th/Early 20th Century French Painted Wood Louis XVI Armchairs or Bèrgères à la Reine A fine pair of late 19th/early 20th century paintwood armchairs, so-called "bèrgères à la Reine" standing on two fluted tapering legs at the front and two sable-shaped legs at the back. Straight padded back, armrests and loose cushion seats, recently upholstered with elegant greige colored fabric. The pair of Louis XVI style armchairs also comes with two smaller decorative cushions which add to the beauty and comfort of the chairs. Beautiful and elegant pair of Louis XVI style armchairs, which due to their straight outlines and subtle colors harmonize perfectly with many different interior styles and color schemes.
