The gracious, naturalistic form of the Rococo style so favored by King Louis XV has been aptly expressed in exquisite giltwood, with an arched seatback crowned with an heraldic crest flanked by floral and foliate sprays. The seat framework is comprised of a subtly undulating apron enhanced with shell and foliates, repeated on the scrolled legs. Silk damask upholstery is serviceable but should be replaced.
