Antique Low Biedermeier Chair With Hindeloopen Paintwork
About the Item
The woodwork of this artistically low type of Biedermeier chair is wonderfully cut. The basic color is oxblood red. On top of this layer flower and leaf motifs have been painted in the typical Hindeloopen style. This combines perfectly with the old pink velvet fabric of the seat and arm rests which are trimmed with an embroidered sea green piping.
A tasteful and rare piece.
