About the Item
Pair of Classic Jens Risom midcentury side chairs that have been rewoven with beautiful linen.
Jens Risom's original 1941 collection for Knoll incorporates a natural aesthetic, characteristic of understated Scandinavian design. A KnollStudio classic, one of the first designs commissioned by Knoll.
Linen designed by textile designer Hella Jongerius from Germany. The new webbing is duo-tone in color and the quality of the linen has been optimized to create the new, modern color palettes. Contrasting warp (longitudinal) and weft (transverse) twisted yarns create the look of a three-dimensional weave to bring beautiful dimension to the new hues.
Wood has been newly refinished.
