About the Item
A set of four Giancarlo Piretti DSC 106 chairs in original brown upholstery.
Form and function joined in the Design of these well known stacking chairs by Giancarlo Piretti for Anonima Castelli.
They are used as dining chairs as well as office chairs due to their great comfort.
Sturdy molded aluminum base with coated tubular steel legs.
The original upholstery is still in great shape with small normal signs of wear and age.

Giancarlo Piretti
Giancarlo Piretti was born in Bologna, Italy, in 1940. He attended art schools there and subsequently taught Interior Design. During that time, he was also designing furniture for Anonima Castelli. He has won numerous awards and has items in many museums, including MoMA, New York. He still lives and works in Bologna with his son, designer Alessandro Piretti.
