Late 19th Century Renaissance Walnut Chair with Mermaids
About the Item
A large antique chair in Renaissance style, also called Henri II style. The chair is made of sculpted walnut wood. Ebonised wood and inlay work on the corners and top ornaments. The back rests on two refined sculpted mermaids. The chair had been re-upholstered around 1990-2000. The seat is equipped with spirals. This chair is made in France, around 1880-1890.
