Pair of 19th Century French Directoire Style Cherrywood Chairs
About the Item
An elegant and unusual pair of 19th century, French Directoire st. cherry wood chair. The chairs are raised by slightly curved legs below a stunning straight apron with an attractive curved shape at the front. The pierced back has a most elegant central "X' shaped designed carving. At the top is a large diamond shaped ebony design. Upholstered with a rich off white silk fabric.
