About the Item

An elegant and modern Scandia lounge chairs. This model was designed by Hans Brattrud in 1957. This pair of chairs was manufactured by Fjordfiesta in Norway at the first years of 21th century. Steam-bent american oak slats rest on a frame of painted, bent steel sporting footed, hairpin legs. Through this combination, a Mid-Century Modern lounge chair in warm oak was created. Part of the award-winning Scandia series, an impressive, modern and dynamic form. It is completely comfortable and great from all angles. Retains original label at the underside. A rare and timeless seating option.

    This set of two modernist Eva chairs was designed by Niels Koefoed for the Danish Koefoed Hornslet manufacture in 1964. The chairs have a high backrest with ergonomic vertical slats and a comfortable seat. Niels Koefoed was a Danish furniture designer and owner of the Koefoeds Hornslet factory. Named after the city in which it was located. The furniture factory was founded by Niels father, Einar Koefoed in the 1920s. The city of Hornslet boasted three furniture makers at the end of the 20th century, each specialized in different areas of the design industry: upscale furniture, upholstery and cabinets.
