About the Item
Very elegant and minimal looking Spinetto Chiavari chair with fine black ebonized frame and wicker seat and manufactured in the 1960s by Chiavari, Italy. The lightweight frame is, although its fragile look, firm and a true work of craftsmanship The Spinetto chair is famous for being the inspiration for the Superleggera chair by Gio Ponti. This chair is in good condition with a beautiful patina.
Marked with 'Chiavari' imprinted in the wood.
