About the Item
A superb quality mid 19th century rosewood salon stool of Rococo revival style. The frieze is eye-catching with intricate cavetto carved moulding - it is a wonderful example of the Rococo revival style which epitomised grandeur and luxury in European style. The button down deep green leather seat makes it both practical for modern living and incredibly stylish. The bonquet's cabriole legs are luxurious in detail, the convex section has wonderfully carved detail; finished with beautiful scroll feet.
