About the Item
The U Turn by Bensen combines luxurious comfort with a tailored look. A modern spin on the classic club chair, its sophisticated form allows it to be used in various environments, from traditional to the most modern, and is suitable for contract or commercial use. Its most distinctive visual element is the seat under-cut which provides foot space for greater ease when getting out of the chair. The generously scaled seat, back support, and luxurious seat cushion achieve superb comfort while occupying a surprisingly small footprint. The U Turns sits upon a discrete circular metal base that rotates smoothly through 360º. An internal steel frame and injection molded foam create engineered comfort and a tailored appearance.
These U Turn swivel armchairs are finished in warm brown Acquario Cuoio Leather. The seat cushion is multi-density structural foam, and the swivel base is a thick, powder-coated metal base. The chair has a width of 29.5 inches, a depth of 22.75 inches, and a length of 27.5 inches. The seat height is 15 inches. These chairs are in excellent showroom condition and have only been used in a furniture showroom setting.
Bensen is a design and manufacturing group founded in 1981 by Niels Bendtsen. Along with his staff, Bendtsen designs and oversees the production of an extensive line of quality furnishings.
