French Leather Club Chairs Restored Internally Horsehair Original Velvet Cushion
About the Item
Pair of Fully Restored French Leather Club Chairs from the Art Deco Period. Our Old Plank upholstery department has been restoring French Club Chairs for over 30-years and what we pride ourselves most with, is the fact that when we’re finished, the Club Chairs look as though they were never touched. This particular part of French Club Chairs required over 80-man hours of restoration and as an added bonus we were able to save the old velvet seat cushion fabric. The older French Club Chairs used to have velvet seat cushions and we find then not only great looking, but also more comfortable. Our Restoration department use only tried and true old school techniques and materials whenever we are doing restoration of club chairs and that encompasses; horsehair, wadded wool, cotton and shredded coco fibers for padding and 8-way hand tied coil springs. When we’re finished with one of our Old Plank Club Chair restorations, the Club Chairs feel like your favorite pair of old leather shoes.
